Leadership Framework

Leadership – the art of influencing someone or a group of people in such a way to have a positive effect towards the accomplishment of a goal, objective, or job (mission).

Cadet Creed

  • I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet.

  • I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school and the Corps of Cadets.

  • I do not lie, cheat or steal and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds.

11 Principles of Leadership

  1.  Know yourself and seek self-improvement.

  2. Be proficient within your area of work.

  3. Know your people and look after their welfare.

  4. Keep your people informed.

  5. Set the example.

  6. Insure the task is understood, supervised, and accomplished.

  7. Train your people as a team.

  8. Make sound and timely decisions.

  9. Develop a sense of responsibility among your subordinates.

  10. Use your people in accordance to their capabilities.

  11. Seek responsibility and take responsibility for your actions.
